Dhiraagu Wins Three Global 5G Awards at Mobile World Congress

According to the results of the Speedtest intelligence on the first half of 2025, Dhiraagu received three awards, Fastest 5G Network in the Maldives, Best 5G Network in the Maldives, and Best 5G Gaming Experience in the Maldives. The mobile world congress is considered to be the largest event in the telecommunication industry globally.
The award indicates that Dhiraagu has persistently continued to invest in enhancement of network performance and provision of new digital technologies. The company also became the first digital services provider to commercially roll out 5G services in the Maldives and South Asia, which is a breakthrough in digital development of the country.
As of today, over 73 percent of the Maldivian population can access ultra-fast network Dhiraagu 5G network. The company claims to be continuing to increase coverage and better customer experiences and help the nation to become digitalized.
