On May 3rd, 2025, Ooredoo Maldives led a meaningful tree planting activity on the island of Baa Fulhadhoo, continuing its efforts under the nationwide #GrowWithOoredoo program. The initiative, held in collaboration with the Fulhadhoo Council, focused on planting Coconut Palms in selected parts of the island.
The goal of the project is to support environmental sustainability, boost biodiversity, and offer shaded areas for the local community. These steps are part of Ooredoo’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and its vision of a greener, more resilient Maldives.
Ooredoo’s #GrowWithOoredoo program has been rolled out in several islands, working closely with local councils, schools, and environmental groups. The company emphasizes that its mission goes beyond just providing connectivity—it’s also about making a lasting, positive impact on communities.
This latest event in Fulhadhoo stands as another example of how Ooredoo is helping to build sustainable island communities. The company expressed sincere thanks to the Fulhadhoo Council for their warm support and active participation in the project.
