Ooredoo Maldives has reported a net profit of MVR 166.9 million in the first quarter of 2025, with total revenue at MVR 547 million, according to its latest financial report.
The company introduced several new services this quarter, including the launch of Samsung smartwatches with eSIM support and a major 5G expansion, now reaching 80% of the Maldivian population.
Ooredoo also ran special Ramadan campaigns, such as ‘Roadhaige Nooru’ and ‘Karaa Felhun’, focused on community engagement.
At its Annual General Meeting, the company confirmed a dividend of MVR 3.43 per share from last year’s profit.
