WAMCO Changes Timings of Waste Collection at Designated Times from Registered Households

Waste Management Corporation has announced changes brought to the timings for waste collection services provided in the Greater Male’ Region. 
 
In light of the Covid situation being brought under control, WAMCO has announced that effective September 15, customers are requested to gather the waste at a dedicated site on the ground floor of inside the building between 6 and 7 p.m. every day.  
 
Waste collectors will be out for collection between 8 to 10 p.m. every night, so WAMCO requests arrangements be made in households so that the waste inside the building will be accessible accordingly during this time.  
 
Another important factor to keep in mind is to be registered with WAMCO as a household to be eligible for the service. Since it is prohibited by the City Council to dump waste on the roadside, WAMCO urges the public to refrain from doing so and to register for proper waste disposal at the earliest.
